Babe Ruth / Ty Cobb Show

Ty Cobb was the first great American sports hero and was

the first player elected to the Hall of Fame in 1936.

His lifetime batting average of 367 is still the best in the Major Leagues.

Babe Ruth was a legend in his own time and for all time.

He saved the National Pastime after the 1919 “Black Sox” scandal and

brought baseball back to America.

He was the second player elected to the Hall of Fame in 1936. He ranks third in home-runs.

They were as different as the sun and the moon and bitter enemies when they played.

The show takes place in 1947. Mature, wise and friends,

they meet and talk about the game they loved.

Have fun talking about the “good old days”; they diss each other cracking jokes and having fun. One year later, Ruth would die of cancer.
